Our Journey

We began our journey in 2016 as pilots focused on drone inspections across transmission and distribution networks in California. From the start, our role as experienced RPICs gave us valuable insight into the limitations of traditional methods—particularly in safety, accuracy, and efficiency. These challenges revealed significant gaps in how inspections were conducted, and we saw a clear opportunity to build something better. This led us to establish Solarix Aerial—not just as another inspection provider, but as a company created to redefine industry practices. By integrating AI-driven software, advanced obstacle avoidance, and autonomous flight technology, we transformed inspections from routine tasks into smarter, safer, and more reliable operations.
